Wes Hataway Named Legal and Policy Director for LNHA

(Baton Rouge, LA) The Louisiana Nursing Home Association (LNHA) recently announced that Wes Hataway will serve in the newly created position of Legal and Policy Director.

“We are pleased to have someone with Wes’ legal and public policy expertise and experience in this key role,” said Mark Berger, executive director of LNHA. “Wes will be a tremendous asset to our team as we support our members in their delivery of professional, compassionate care to thousands of Louisiana’s frail and elderly.”

Before joining LNHA, Wes served as the Vice President of Legal Affairs for the Louisiana State Medical Society where his primary responsibilities were the legal, legislative and regulatory affairs of the organization. Wes is also the former director of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Administration for Louisiana. He is a graduate of Louisiana College and the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
