Two Day Seminar: MDS/Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Coding and Interpretation And Case Mix Documentation Guidelines
This intensive two day session is for new and experienced MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, assessment nurses, administrator, or any care team member.
This class will include a basic item overview and coding instructions for all required sections in the MDS 3.0 item set; provide rationale and resources to optimize resident care outcomes; supporting documentation requirements for the RUG-III classification model; proper sequencing; OBRA and PPS requirements; care planning; recently updated submission and correction policy details; Medicare SNF PPS details and how to calculate the 66 RUG IV classifications.
